Constituents of Iresine herbstii
Obsahové látky Iresine herbstii
Etanolický extrakt Iresine herbstii Hook. (Amaranthaceae) vykazuje antioxidační aktivitu. Při studiu obsahových látek, zodpovědných za tuto aktivitu, byly z nadzemní části rostliny vyizolovány vosky, b-sitosterol, kampesterol a 3’4’7-trihydroxy-6-metoxy flavon, který se podílí na antioxidačním účinku. Látky byly identifikovány spektrálními metodami.

Ethanolic extracts from Iresine herbstii Hook. (Amaranthaceae) show antioxidant activity. In the study of its constituents responsible for this activity, waxes, b-sitosterol, campesterol and 3’4’7-tri- hydroxy-6-metoxyflavone which contributes to the antioxidant effect were isolated from the aerial part of the plant. The substances were identified by spectral methods.
